I have to get this one thing off my chest. I love arresting scenes. But I don't like the way they are handling the suspects. They clearly have not got enough training about how do you escort somebody and that irritates me. I mean, in some cases when suspects are not trying to escape it's ok to just gently escort them to the police car. BUT if not, you don't just gently hold their arms. It's easy is to actually escape from that situation.
I'm just disappointed cause I like those scenes much and that little thing sort of takes my mind away. I dunno. I wish I would have been there and give them training how to do the right kind of escorting grip that will not allow you even think about escaping. Charlie and Jack are often alone in those situations.. They should have got tools to control that kind of situations. Little detail that have just irritated me a little.
fifi, his mum thinks he's been at home because there are things missing. She is clearly distracted by her new partner and I guess Andre disappears frequently
fifi, I was confused about that too at first watch. but as domino said, it looked like he'd come home and gotten some stuff from home. (homeless teacher that had gone to their house)
But as I said, mother of the year... I guess she's used to him not being at home for days. and she's obviously too busy to keep track.

when I did jury service, the policeman who came to give evidence had to read the words of the caution off a card, and he was a real policeman not an actor so I guess you can't blame actors for not quite getting police procedure right all the time
I haven't been too bothered by their arresting procedures, though in the case of Hannah I totally thought they were going to lose her since she was fighting them.
What bothers me about the show is the solicitors just sitting there silently.

Maybe I just thought that detectives should have pretty good fighting skill set cause they are in lots of dangerous situation. Everything goes well until they start to escort them. Especially when they are doing it without cuffing. That grip is like escorting a old people to their beds and anyone could get out from that hold and run. Maybe they are trusting too much other polices around to help if needed?
oh that IS an inconsistency about who reported him missing. the school?

when charlie and jack went to her flat, they told Tracy a neighbour had not heard his music for days. maybe that is how he was reported missing then face matched to the boy in the video, timed to 3 days ago.. and that Tracy had not actually SEEN him for days..
