The black eyed thing is very creepy and very effective. Thank you Toby, at least they don't sparkle. Because

For me it was definitely Hal reaching into the dog - I found that chilling. I'm not that bothered by gore, and Hal killing Tom was so obviously unreal (perfectly clean stake). Psychological horror, however, really gets to me. That and the sheer drama of the moment. Even without looking at the poll, that is one of the moments that has always stood out for me. After that it's Hal stepping forward to join the rest of the Old Ones, then where Annie turns round to see the giant poster of Hal.
I'm hoping that dog is a misprint of cot, because I can't remember a dog. Unless there is a episode that I missed.
With the Tom (dream) staking there was also way too much blood right away.
Hal joining the old ones, it showed how Mr Snow had more of an hypnotic hold over Hal, when Annie arrive screaming "Give me back my fucking baby" it seemed to break Hal's connection to Mr Snow
Future Hal, the poster that wasn't a big surpise to me..infact it might have been more of a surprise to find he was leading the resistance.
Yes, it was meant to be cot! My internet is 'blinking' on and off at the moment and I'm posting without checking (it can mean waiting for a minute or so before it reconnect and I'm impatient).
