They have only recorded the pilot for TDYK, if it is picked up they won't record the rest of the series until later in the year and then air the pilot as the first ep. It really is highly unlikely it will be this year but as you say whimsy, we should def find out if it's greenlit this year!
is anyone else feeling the exciting tension in there as we await 3 brand new thrilling completed projects this year, the return of Suspects and news on the known other? each day gets closer to that first photo, first trailer... eek! Not to mention the unknown but inevitable NEW things Damien is bound to be doing imminently!
I'm sure Damien is going to surprise us with a spectacular secret project that will make us all squee!
I went to the cinema this evening and when I watched the trailers I wondered what it would feel like to suddenly see a trailer for Tiger Raid. I don't think I would be able to contain my excitement!!
Oh Rosie, seeing Tiger Raid trailer on theaters would probably make me jump out of my seat!! I'm really waiting Kill Your Friends (I want to see the dance scene!!!) and I really really really am waiting for Tiger Raid cause I have been dreaming seeing Damien in that role..

Desperately trying not to be impatient for more Damieness... Those films seem hundreds of years away, not sure if around for next Suspects... Waiting for more radio or 90 minute audio book... Or, to see him at my local theatre during winter season... *Being Patient* but, finding extremely hard...
The fact that he was there looking worse for wear mid-morning sure could be interpreted that he's either meeting up/auditioning for something or he's wrapping up stuff from THP. But THP ended 5 weeks ago, wouldn't everything be squared away by now? I don't want to jump to conclusions but it certainly is a little breadcrumb to keep an eye on.

Perhaps he was there getting coffee or something and it was just a coincidence. The same person tweeted about seeing Damien there when they were rehearsing THP
Maybe... Hard to tell under what circumstances/what area she saw him in. If it's just the general public areas or in the staff areas. She's a set designer. I don't know if she's actually worked at NT herself, or just been there for plays and seen him. She's tweeted about seeing him a few times at NT. (as an aside, she won one of his scars when he did the fundraiser) It's the "looking rougher" that caught my attention. She was there in a professional capacity, turning in a portfolio for a design competition, so she could have been in a staff only section. If he was relaxing with coffee, it doesn't seem she would have put it that way.

She must have been quite close to see that he looked rough, that is, not seen him from a distance or at a glance. Hope he wasn't undoing all his good work at the gym from the previous day's tweet !
Damien tweeted about his exercise he has been having, do think that might have something to do with looking rough?
I think he's doing lots exercise on his free time and quite rough ones too (according to his tweets and we saw the evidence on THP, that man has been working out). I hope he's up to something and I would love to see him on stage again!
This will surprise no one, but I would rather he did more TV and films. I like that he bounces between platforms, giving him experience in filmed vs live roles and giving fans opportunities to see him in person. But besides the obvious for me -being geographically challenged - in a play you get 1.5 - 2 hrs to see him as that character within a run that lasts a few months. That's it. Even with Suspects there have been at least 4 hrs a Series. And films would broaden his career, could lead to more of everything. More Damo is a good thing.

I love that Damien does such a variety of things and seems to do things that stretch and challenge him . Just seeing Damien in anything would be great right now !
The National Theatre announced some of its new plays recently which seem to be from October and Damien doesn't seem to be linked to any of them. So if he is doing another play it probably wouldn't be until next year .
Tiger Raid it the thing I'm most looking forward to. I think it's the kind of movie that will leave me shaken, maybe a little heart-broken, and I can't wait to see Damien in a leading role in a film!
I've read the book Kill Your Friends and I have to say, I wanted to scrub my brain with a pumice stone afterward. It took days to shake off the effect. It really is disgusting and horrifying, and the attitude toward women is appalling! It was funny, but the residual effects of investing in the story knocked me sideways. Wondering when I'll be able to read it again, if ever. We'll see what the film has to offer, but I had a sense in the book that Ross was a hanger-on, a good boy trying to be a little bad but not fully into the scene. Or maybe he just didn't know how to be as awful as Stelfox. I'm curious to see what Damien does with the role. I'm sure he will make more of it than what I found in the book.

He'd have told me to join him, and I would. - still true!
I'm really looking forward to Tiger Raid too, TJ. I just have a feeling it's going to be amazing and that Damien is just going to blow everyone away with his incredible acting talent.
If it wasn't for Damien being in it, I would probably never watch Kill Your Friends. It doesn't appeal at all.
Agree with both assessments. I want to see Tiger Raid so bad I can almost taste it. Kill Your Friends had humor, but it left me feeling hollow for days. I couldn't remember Ross by the time we found out that was his character so I'm a bit wary about sitting through the whole movie to see him maybe 3 times.

Eek - Tiger Raid. Everytime I think about it I'm a bit !!
But I'm actually really looking forward to Kill Your Friends too! Can't argue with TJ - the book is disgusting and horrifying....and maybe I'm a little bit warped(!) but I really enjoyed it - it's one of the least predictable plot-lines I've ever read, which I find profoundly satisfying - and I'm fascinated to see how it translates to the screen. Damien might not have a lead role, but - c'mon! - Nicholas Hoult, James Cordan, Craig Roberts, Joseph Mawle, etc. etc.....and Damien's gonna be right in there too! I might not be as excited as I am about Tiger Raid....but I can't wait!
So right at the start of this thread is domino's article, complete with this pic - which represents all of the goodies we were looking foward to right at the start of this year. The Hard Problem has been and gone (it seems like an age ago!), and we've had a couple of unexpected radio treats. But despite the fact we're over half way through the year, once again we are waiting for a series of suspects to air in much the same way as when this article was written - except now it's s4 we're waiting for.....and potentially we can add The Devil you Know to the list - nothing much has changed.
We've got a bit more info on Tiger Raid, but the only thing we know for certain is that Kill Your Friends is coming...at least to parts of Europe! The Year of the Damo is certainly keeping us in suspense!
