Embrace CVOC is the only charity in the UK that focuses solely on supporting young victims of crime. They provide practical and emotional support to help those up to the age of 18 recover from life-changing crime. Often those traumatised by crime – directly or indirectly – need help to ‘move on’ and restore self-esteem. Sadly, they are often forgotten. The charity offers peer group support for young victims of crime and their families, individual counselling therapy, personal grants, experience days, family breaks (UK and Disney) and ‘cheer up’ gifts; including tickets to the UK’s most popular theme parks.
Chloe Swift, Fundraising and Marketing Manager for Embrace CVOC said:“We’re so grateful to all of our supporters like the Damien Molony Forum who are helping to raise funds for our charity. Embrace CVOC provides a range of practical and emotional support for child victims of crime which is vital for their recovery. Last year we helped over 1,000 children, and as the saying goes, every little helps, so thanks to fundraisers like yourselves and all whom take part in this fantastic donation incentive, we’ll be able to help many more young victims of crime!”

You little minx! Mmmm, to have Jack 'strutting' up on my wall... or the S2 DVD... I already have S1, but it doesn't say 'kiss x3' on it... *sigh* Such a fantastic lot of prizes! And charities benefiting children always strike a chord with me. Off to donate and cross everything... xxx

Oh my this is so amazing domino! What a prizes! Oh this is something I have to absolutely participate! This is so great and it is so lovely to see how they are sharing awareness of this kind of important thing. And you have been keeping this secret all along ;)
So happy to be able to finally share this with you all, the fundraiser has been in the works since about September last year.
I know we were all very moved and affected by the Suspects storylines in the past two series that involved children - and although they are completely fictional, they do (tragically) reflect the ordeals young victims of crime go through in real life. In Suspects we only see the investigation, but what happens to those children and young people afterwards?
That is exactly where the charity we're fundraising for comes in!
Even without these awesome prizes as an incentive, please consider donating on that basis alone.
It only needs to be £2 to enter the prize draw!
But oh... these prizes!!!!! They are 100% unique and VERY SPECIAL, I am already envious of the future winners!
I must say a BIG THANK YOU again to Channel 5 for allowing us to use the promo pics and for donating the goodies bag (more will be revealed on that soon!), to Fremantle Media for donating all the DVDs, to Kara Manley for kindly allowing us to use her personal filming photos and to her and Paul Marquess for signing the Series 2 DVDs... and for creating this brave and relevant show!
HUGE THANKS to Damien for so generously personalising all the items - they are all unique and brilliant - and for inspiring in the first place.
I am also so grateful to fifi and whimsy for the support over recent days while setting everything up, for proof reading, wise words and encouragement - thank you!
17% already and it's first day this is on!! This is so great domino. Channel 5 are so super great for letting you use those photos and maybe this will give Suspects more fame! I was so excited about the surprise that when I woke up 5 am I had to come here first thing and see what was going on. But I had to wait until I got out from work until I could donate. Suspects goodie bag... WHATS INNIT??
wow 17% towards the first target already! awesome!
Thank you so much for your donation Jozie! as for the goodie bag.... IT's a SURPRISE!!!!
Thank you to everyone who has RT'd me on the @DMolonyForum and @SuspectsTVShow twitter pages, any help you can all give to this fundraising campaign is so welcomed and much appreciated.
Yes... Now when I think about it there could be few problems! Too much donation is never bad, you can feed Damien with coffee and cookies for about month while he's in the box... But there might be issues like it could take dramatic turn to become situation like Schrödinger's cat and yes, I would definitely among many others donate my all my possessions.
After last night's episode of Suspects, with such a harrowing storyline... I'm even more determined to raise as much for the charity as possible. What they do to help children and yp in real life is SO important.
THANK YOU to all who have donated - your names have been entered into the prize draw for the AMAZING Suspects goodies personalised by Damien, Paul and Kara
Well done for doing this, domino! I know you've put a lot of time and effort into getting these fantastic prizes and setting the whole thing up. It's a wonderful thing to do for a very worthwhile cause....which is perfectly suited to a suspects fundraiser!
Still can't stop grinning over 'Jack Weston "strutting"'!
Thank you fifi and for all your help while setting it up Yes, it is good to know Embrace CVOC is there, helping children and young people in real life. Supporting them is an honour and iimportant to me.
Lol, perhaps amongst the Molonians, this might be the most coveted prize?!?
'Kiss x 3' on front of your DVD is also pretty cool (and noone else anywhere in the world will ever have the same!)
