Damien performed with WordTheatre at 'Heart Strings Bittersweet Love Stories' reading “The Woman at the Window” by James Lasdun and “Angry” by Joyce Carol Oates.
Well, I missed the first one, but am pleased to say that I was there for the other two....which is slightly ironic, considering how much closer to Cardiff I am than to London! I was pretty much standing next to the photographer at the arts club...... The 'Heartstrings' event was my favourite tho. Hadn't realised that the 2 word theatre events had happened on the same day!
I never realised the Word Theatre events were on the same day either Fifi, despite going to both too.
It's about time he got involved with another Word Theatre reading, they are wonderful occasions.

I never got to go to the Word Theatre events and they are my idea of bliss. Now if they'd been weekend events, i would've at least tried to attend one.
I remember the Welsh BAFTA awards and the photos that were shared of him and Kate via Twitter. It caused quite a stir I seem to remember ;) (and heart palpitations too, he looked very suave and Kate looked gorgeous)
Listening back to those Forward Prizes Poetry readings again, I am struck and just how powerful the poems are, especially Dan O'Brien's.. I could never tire of Damien reading it either.
Lovely comment from Dan when I tweeted about it yesterday
It is a creepy story in the chilling, mystery sense, but I don't find it creepy, cringy... Dorian Gray is a fascinating character and imagine what Damien could bring to such a role!
But talking of Ripper Street......

The first official photo of Damien as Albert Flight arrived!
The first official pic of D.S. Albert Flight, and it was him in his undercover gear. When you think about how much of Flight was actually undercover, it seems fitting, doesn't it?
