It might sound like a strange comparison - but actor Damien Molony says working on Channel 4's new sitcom Crashing was not too dissimilar to his time on Being Human.
Molony told Digital Spy that his role as vampire Hal on the much-missed BBC Three series helped him prepare for Crashing - in which he plays happy-go-lucky chef Anthony.
"Going back to Being Human, while it was very much set in this bloody supernatural world of vampires, it had huge laugh-out-loud moments," he said. "So this wasn't a total departure for me."
