The US theatrical release date has been announced - 4 October (limited) 11 October (wide). 

So great that this film is going to finally see the light of day (groan)!

That is great news, there are several release dates on IMDb but not for Germany, thanks for sharing!

New trailer from 101 Studios, for the US release!

I like the look of this one, the cinematography looks amazing.

I am prone to wishful thinking with these trailers, but is that Damien's voice at the 1.10 mark? 

"Sometimes we have to work outside of the rules to get what’s right" ??

If not, the "right" part sounds remarkably like Albert Flight in Ripper Street in the milk drinking scene with Rose in 'Dynamite and a Woman'!

I definitely think it sounds like Damien too. His voice is pretty distinctive and you're right domino, the way he says right sounds just like lovely Albert.

Another new trailer for the US release of The Current War!

PLUS A NEW AMERICAN RELEASE DATE!

It was originally 4 October limited release, 11 October wide release..

now they 101 Studios are saying 25 October !cool 

 

It is a shame they still don't show even a tiny glimpse of Damien's face in the new trailer!

But I can now confirm it is indeed his voice in not 1 but 2 parts!

It's only 6 days until The Current War opens in the US! It would be great to hear from our American forumers if you get to see it!

I should say 'The Current War: Director's Cut' as it has been renamed. This is a good thing.

As the promo ramps up ahead of the US release, I've been keeping my eyes peeled for any mention or clips with Damien, nothing so far. The official Twitter page does not even mention the 2 lead females! Anyhoo I assure you that Damien is definitely in the film, in 4 scenes. You can read more about that here.

Still no date for Germany. I saw somewhere that Switzerland has postponed it to January. If this continues I just buy the DVD.

You've seen it Ellie? Or are you talking about the trailer? Yes, Damien's voice is really distinctive in both! The only Irish accent in the film!

Still no German air date? Sana that sucks! The region 2 DVD is arriving on 18th November - that is less than 1 month away! It's a film that would really shine on the big big screen, but given the choice of not seeing it, I'd opt for the dvd and the biggest massive flat screen with sound system you can find!

Damien's voice appears twice in the trailer. It's such a shame they couldn't give us just 1 tiny glimpse of his face!
