Brassic will be in six parts. I'm not sure we knew it was a six episode series before?!
Exciting to read about the post production. Fingers crossed for an air date soon!

Let's hope for an hour Ellie ! I think Shameless was about 50 mins an episode - not that that is anything to go by. Yes it's comedy, but with the writerly qualities for this project you'd hope for a decent ep length to allow for development, especially as it's only six episodes. 30 minutes is no time at all is it. Cannot wait to find out more!
Heads up. Michelle Keegan is on This Morning tomorrow (23/01).

Tanks for the heads up Ann! Hopefully there may be a mention of 'Brassic', but her appearance might possibly be mostly about 'Our Girl' which has just been renewed again.
Yes! The original press announcement last year did mention 'Brassic' will be sold internationally by ITV Studios Global Entertainment, so we could assume from that it would not be UK limited. Fingers crossed for worldwide DaMoNation!
The Deadline article referred to by Core Post I posted here a while ago - it actually mentions Brassic being remade for US audiences (like Shameless was), but the preference surely has to be selling the UK version internationally.
An official release date for Brassic has not been confirmed by Sky One.
However, Sky has confirmed it will be 2019 and it is very likely that it will premiere closer to summer.
Filming only began in September 2018 and wrapped up at the end of last year.
I don't mind an attention baiting headline, as long as it delivers - sadly this one doesn't. But it is good to see more Brassic buzz in the mainstream press!
Takes glasses off, peers at screen. Puts glasses back on, peers at screen. Sorry, still have no idea what's going on, other that it has Damien and Michelle Keegan!
Wahhhh! that photo is making me soooo excited for 'Brassic'! Yes, even more excited! Sheesh.. those people working on the post production are lucky!
Hmm.. their characters look pretty serious... I keep looking and looking to try and see what is in the background... love a good mystery! Cannot wait to find out what this scene is - cannot wait to see it!!!
Should someone tell ITV Studios that 'Brassic' is about a "group of working-class friends as they find unconventional ways to try and win at life" and that it's Damien Molony, before they try to sell it globally?
I'm sure the 'Brassic' gang we're going to meet will all be very fiendish, it sounds from the synopsis like all kinds of shenanigans have gone on: "These lads have dealt, scammed, bribed and conned their way through adolescence", probably extra fiendishly masterminded by "razor sharp" Dylan! (Can't wait to 'meet' them!). But mistakes like that in a catalogue are borderline scandalous! And Damien's name misspelling, yet again, is unforgivable! It's really not that hard to spell, nor hard to check, proofread and edit. We all make mistakes, I sure do on my blog type posts, but I'm just a random non commercial nobody blogger, not a massive corporate website!

Here is another mention of a summer air date for Brassic, from the Daily Mail Weekend Magazine (no I don't buy it, didn't buy it and this is from pressreader). We ought to take this with a pinch of salt, could be more speculation than official at this stage!
Exciting things coming to @SkyIreland this year from new series Brassic to old favorites like A League of their Own as well as the second season of Riviera, it’s looking good. #Sky2019pic.twitter.com/ZTqE2l0rTY
"Elsewhere, Irish actor Damien Molony talked the audience through his new gritty comedy-drama Brassic, where he'll play a leading role alongside Michelle Keegan and Joe Gilgun (of This Is England fame)."
A couple of cool tidbits from Damien at today's Sky content event, via Her.ie (including about a sex scene!)
"Dylan is the brains of the gang so he's kind-of smart enough to see the flaws in all their crazy money-making schemes. And you know, the great tragedy for Dylan really is because he is the brightest of the bunch, he doesn't really have any ambition to do anything with his intelligence".
"Damien stars closely alongside Michelle Keegan, who plays Erin in this series, revealing that the had to film a sex scene on their very first day, Damien nodded that it's never easy to act out even when it's alongside Michelle Keegan (who he also noted is an infectious presence of laughter to be around)."
