Not sure if these would count as actions - but how about a role where Damien is looking after children (parent or teacher) or being a nurse or as Ann suggested being a doctor.

Yes, they are perhaps more vocations and roles, than actions..
but how about
parenting, teaching, nursing, doctoring (?)
