With her friends all seemingly moving forward with their lives and relationships, Marcella begins to feel like she is being left behind, and she decides to open up to her life coach about her feelings. However, her luck is about to change when she gets news of a big audition. Meanwhile, Marcella's parents have something to tell her and Billy.

Not a huge amount of Jon in tonight's episode but that phone call after he watched Steel Magnolias was just adorable. I can't help worrying about Jon finding out that Marcella has already passed her test. She really gets herself into such pickles because she lies and often pretends to be someone she's not.
I felt such empathy for Marcella feeling that everyone is achieving and leaving her behind
Oh my.. Marcella is so so funny! Anyone else think she should be a comedian?
The Nobel Prize flash sideways and the Silence of The Lambs moment were so hilarious!
I really felt for Marcella after her audition, she smashed it! But yay for her good news at the end!
Lovely to see more of all the characters this week, Caroline and Lucy and Marcella's family. Mum and Dad are both such characters! The no handles on the cup scene, lol!
Of course this meant a bit less Jon, but loved the scenes he was in, when he asked Marcella about he driving test...and why did he say no to Marcella coming to the exhibition? We know why.. but I wanted him to say yes! But then phoning her up later, aw to their pillow talk moment...actions speak louder than words sometimes but that is a good thing because both of them are mutually now equally back and forth and awkwardness! Steel Magnolias and Beach are both absolute classics!
I have a theory, He knew the examiner at the driving test centre, he must have other students that take their test there.. what if he already knows about Marcella passing her test?
it must be Marcella on the phone! SUUUURRRELLLYYYY! hopefully it will be funny and a little bit flirty.
