It was an easy one for me. Joncella all the way. But with a proviso, I am very much enjoying the 'will they, won't they' ride, and don't want that to end too soon!
Agree Sana! Jon actually said "maybe we're meant to be friends" which felt to me to be more of a feeling out how Marcella felt and being genuinely confused about what she wants? Their constant, mutual, miscommunication could be super frustrating, but it is written with such delicious, adorable, romantic, tension!
There is a fundamental flaw in our Joncella want, If they get together, where will GameFace go from there? The 'will they won't they' is so much part of the series, and I want a third series (and more!). But also, how long can that arc be stretched? Maybe them getting together would just be a new chapter and plenty of room for more stories there.
I've mentioned this before but I still wonder if there is still more to Jon than we know. All the things he has revealed about himself... there could be more. What if he is not all he seems? That would be a fascinating angle. There could be skeletons in his closet. As long as he is not a real baddie, because that would mean no Joncella.
As long as Marcella does not get together with Slime-on. This. Must. Not. Happen!

I can imagine that, too. If he is not sure, then he is afraid of other people's reactions. Above all, the reactions of loved ones.
I would love it if his exhibition was loads of drawings of Marcella. I feel like surely he has some dark secret. No one can be that perfect, singing, drawing, owning two businesses...the patience of a saint to teach Marcella to drive.
I'm team Joncella all the way but like with Halex, not until the end. Otherwise, where is the story?
p.s. I haven't seen the final episode yet so no spoilers please. We'll watch on Friday.
