DMF has joined forces with Damien once again for a charity prize draw! We are giving away exclusive Brassic prizes, personalised by Damien and the cast, to fundraise for mental health charity SANE.
From Damien to fans:
"Good morning, I’m Damien Molony, and I wanted to say hello to all the friends of the Damien Molony Forum and to fans of Brassic, everywhere.
It’s November the 4th and we’ve already finished the first 3 episodes of Brassic series 2, we start today on episodes 4, 5 and 6, and I’ve got some exciting news about a fundraiser, a charity prize draw... which is being run by domino at the Damien Molony Forum.
And this year we’re fundraising for SANE, a uk charity which offers emotional support and information to people suffering with mental health problems, so I think a really appropriate one for Brassic. We’re hoping to raise as much money as possible for this incredibly important cause, and a really fantastic charity to support, especially around Christmas time.
To encourage you all to donate and to raise as much money as we possibly can, we have loads of prizes more than any fundraiser we’ve ever done before, all Brassic related.
We’ve got some Fuck Quinoa stuff, we’ve got hats, and T-shirts, a huge poster that I’ll get all the cast to sign on set today, we have DVDs, signed, and other cool pictures, we’ve got so much stuff - there’s ones of my face over there, that’s exciting.
As well as that, we’ve got my hoody, that I got when we wrapped on series 1, which is I guess one of a kind, and really, really cool, designed by Aaron Heffernan, which is pretty cool.
Also on top of that, for the top 3 donors I will send you a Christmas card.
So, there’s so many prizes on offer, hopefully everyone will win a prize!
There’s nothing else to say other than to say thank you to domino at the Damien Molony Forum for first of all sourcing all the prizes, and also for organising the whole fundraiser, it’s a huge amount of work, and she has raised so much money over the past few years, hopefully we can top that even higher this year.
I want to say thank you to Joe Gilgun, obviously without him, none of this would be possible, and he’s such an absolute legend.
I want to say thank you to Calamity Films for giving us the big poster.
I want to say thank you also to Dominic at Sky who gave us the Fuck Quinoa stuff, the poster is really really cool and really really big, so I’ll get everyone to sign that on set.
Hopefully we can raise loads of money to give to this really, really important charity.
Ok, enough from me because it’s er boring. Bye!"

About the ‘Brassic Fantastic’ Charity Prize Draw
Damien has most recently appeared in new Sky comedy drama Brassic, co-created by Joe Gilgun who also stars in the leading role. While it is a comedy, Brassic also shines a light on mental health issues, through the main character Vinnie (Joe Gilgun) who has bipolar disorder. The storylines explore how Vinnie’s illness affects him and those around him, especially his best mate Dylan, played by Damien. The series is partly based on Joe’s real life, including his own experience of bipolar.
Damien said:
”I didn’t have an understanding of bipolar before we started filming. So I could talk to Joe about it, talk about his life and the things that he has experienced, and his day-to-day experience was a real eye-opener. Having him to talk to about it, made the delicate scenes between Dylan and Vinnie more real. And Joe’s honesty and openness about his mental health made it easier for everyone else on set to be honest about theirs.”
For this reason, we have chosen the mental health charity SANE for our 2019 fundraiser.
About SANE
SANE is a charity in the UK offering emotional support and information to anyone affected by mental health problems through their helpline SANEline, Textcare and an online Support Forum where people can share their feelings and experiences. They also campaign to raise awareness and combat stigma about mental illness and to improve mental health services. SANE also initiate research into the causes and treatments of serious mental illness.

About DMF Fundraising
DMF is a fan-run fansite supporting Damien’s work. We are very proud to have collaborated annually with Damien in fundraising for a number of different charities.
This is DMF and Damien’s charity fundraiser number 6! As with previous fundraisers the Brassic Fantastic charity prize draw is a group effort. Damien provides the inspiration, autographs, energy and star power, DMF creates and manages the fundraiser and runs the prize draw, but it is you the fans who truly make it happen. Without your kind-hearted donations and support, we would not be able to support a charity in this unique and wonderful way.
You can read more about our previous charity prize draws here.
How do I enter?
A donation of £5 gives you one entry into the prize draw, and will help to support SANE’s work in giving emotional support and information to anyone suffering with mental health problems and their families.
You can enter as many times as you like, each £5 counts as one entry.
Every penny donated will go to SANE and each donation helps. Not only that, every donation will be entered into the draw for the chance to win a one of a kind prize!
Be sure to tick the 'share my email with the fundraiser box' when you donate, so we can contact you if you win. Please don’t select the Gift Aid option, as prize draws are not eligible.
The closing date is midday (UK time) 29 November 2019.
Tip! The more you donate, the higher your chances of winning a prize. All prizes are limited to 1 per person, but Christmas cards will go to the top 3 donors at the prize draw closing date, even if they are also prize winners.
Please help us spread the word and tell us about your donation here at the forum, on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram!

I KNOW! Damien's video is just so awesome and a lovely thing for him to do, especially while so busy filming! I completely agree, while watching and listening to it I was the opposite of bored!
Just taking a look at the bit in the video, I think Damien says "We've got so much stuff, there's ones of my face over there, that's exciting" He is referring to the Brassic portrait photos of him that he will be signing as prizes!

Thanks so much for your second donation HalGal, really generous of you! AND a bigger chance for you to win a prize! Yes SANE do great, great work, really important and accessible, real services, like SANEline, their text system and their online support forum.
Good call on the prizes, a big one of these signed by Damien? I'm hoping to get photos of the actual autographed photos at some point!
I can't enter but, if I were to choose... for me it would be a tough call... Damien's one of a kind hoody is fantastic, the t shirts and caps are unique, a DVD signed by all the cast, a signed photo, poster .. oh hang on I couldn't choose!
Just noticed your question about the F**K QUINOA caps!
As far as I am aware they are unique as are the T-shirts! I've seen the T-shirts on Instagram but in white with black writing, but not the black ones or the caps ANYWHERE!
We're 4 days into the #BRASSICFANTASTIC fundraiser
