I've binged the whole series and have to say that it exceeded my expectations in many respects... we knew it would be good after series 1, but everything about series 2 is amplified, the storylines, the characters are fuller, richer (not financially!) more UHD - the Brassic magic is even more magical this series.
It's so unique and new feeling, totally absorbing, warm and comforting but intense and edgy, light and funny and deeply dark.
This series has even more silliness and sadness, sometimes within the same moment and is even more special.
I find myself lifted and laughing and heartbroken and crying almost simultaneously, several times.
There are more crazy, creative capers, embedded into an overall series arc, and a different sometimes overlapping journey each for Vinnie, Erin and Dylan. The writing is more complex this series, lots of layers.
Damien's Dylan is slightly separated at times from the gang this series, nothing is easy for him.. you find yourself just wanting him to be happy, but whatever situation he finds himself in is never straightforward and fraught with difficulty!
At the end of the series 3 important questions remain:
1.
Spoiler
Is Dylan actually back with Sara AND Erin?
2.
Spoiler
What did Erin whisper to Vinnie at the end? (all theories please!)
