Nothing with Damien unfortunately, but here are all the Damien / Tyler mentions:
Interview with Abi Morgan (creator, writer, director)
In every series the last episode has featured a wedding. In series two Tyler and Zander eloped so we gave them that great engagement party, but I wanted to end on a wedding here. This show is a collision of a family, at the best and worst of times and I always think weddings are the one thing you can go to where you can’t complain!
Interview with Dee Koppang O'Leary (director)
On paper you might think it’s quite a female show, you assume that women might enjoy watching it more than men, but Damien (Molony) who plays Tyler, said when he was travelling up and down from Manchester for Brassic, that he’s never been stopped by more male lorry drivers at service stations asking about The Split!
Will we see more of Nina and Tyler in the next series?
I think she was really taken by surprise [by the romantic turn of events]. She definitely was not in hot pursuit of him and I think they are soulmates in some ways, because they've been through the same thing and they're addicts.
It's obviously got to go somewhere from there, because [their kiss] was quite an intense moment. I can't say any more than that, but it definitely was unfinished business by the end of series two.
I suppose you can't tell us whether Zander finds out about Nina and Tyler...?
I can't! I can't tell you anything. Sorry, I hate being cryptic!
