Had an amazing time @BFI seeing Toby Whithouse, Jason Watkins and Damien Molony talk about one of my favourite shows of all time - Being Human!! pic.twitter.com/fimf3MIhav
Was so happy to hear BFI brought back our wonderful show on the big screen - with Making History no less - and can’t wait to hear more!

Very glad for those who were able to attend and would love to hear more about it!
Last time Damien was at a BFI Being Human related Q & A, Cool Gothic and The New Vampire, the BFI kindly gave me a recording to do a transcript of the Q&A section.
I reached out this time about a live stream option, but am not in a position health-wise to do a full transcript this time, so didn't ask. There was no response regarding the live stream and a different contact at the BFI.
while I understand the value the BFI place on in-person events, and obviously the whole point of screening the episode is to experience and celebrate it on the big screen, but also have always appreciated their inclusion and diversity policies to enable access for all.
If there is one thing the pandemic taught us is how easy it is to deliver mainstream events online or as a hybrid event (both live and online).
Like you (and many others) I would always be happy to pay the full amount.
Appreciate there may be rights issues regarding the screening part of the event, but cannot understand why the Q & A portion was not made more widely available. It could have been so much more inclusive and accessible to a far wider audience unable to attend, not just due to disability like myself, but travel issues, geo-location issues, and also, there are many people like me who are still shielding and vulnerable and not safe to attend in-person events. Considering their policies it does feel disappointing and little excluding....
remember the BH episode where Annie starts to go invisible? Maybe a little like that!
It is kind of hard to stay visible, when you keep on missing out and promoting to others and never hearing from them about it!
Crossing fingers there will be some recordings released!v
I tried venturing over a few times last couple years and for some reason I couldn’t log in.This time it let me.
I’ve been mostly offline for ages. I got tired of the doomscrolling (mostly on FB), and just fell off the habit of checking/posting on my online spaces.
Haven’t kept up on the DaMo news. I know peeps that went to the BFI, but they haven’t shared much yet. One is planning to on his podcast, the other will be writing a blog post about it. Hopefully the details will start trickling in!
