Agreed Kat. I think the longer sideburns have a place, and as long as they aren't muttonchops they can look quite dashing. But he's just got such a sweet face when he's less scruffy, and the shorter sideburns add to that sweetness.

Kat, it is a special kind of treat to have those eyes looking right at the camera isn't it. Since when he's acting he isn't supposed to look directly at the camera. *le sigh* indeed! And he looks so relaxed and open, something we never saw with Hal, even in promo pics.
The outfit in the Glenn Speers photo is the one he's wearing in the trailer. I'm sure we'll have a proper picture of it soon enough. Based on the tiny bit in the trailer I pick that outfit as my favorite. Could possibly be because I spent several hours staring at it making that gif. But also it seems like it's in between the other two in terms of casualness. All I know is he looks HOT in the trailer, so that's the outfit I'm going with at the moment!

Get what you mean about the suit in the trailer being between the two pics we have. He's obv a man of enough means to have a range of seemingly high-quality outfits. I suppose Policemen are paid well to encourage them to join...
Well, of course not ONLY in the trailer... but there's something about his hair, and that look... say EXTRA HOT in the trailer.
I do find it interesting that he has several looks distinct looks. I never really noticed the 3 principles looking like they wore different outfits. Their tastes aren't as eclectic?
Flight's collars with the two dressier outfits are the best IMO. Slightly more modern looking. Very sharp. And then there's that jaunty scarf...

It doesn't surprise me that, as a young gentleman of means, he would be wearing what is fashionable for the time (assuming that is the fashion) whilst still adhering to a smart ethic; which also could be a disguise for his heritage? Something that Drake and Jackson certainly wouldn't care about, hence their more casual styles.
Reid, being older, has probably found his style and is sticking to it.
Flight's casual attire feels like he's trying to fit in somewhere, if you get what I mean, rather than what he wears on his day off; I think he'd be much smarter than that.

It is a heart wrenching pic... and adds to the mystery surrounding his character...which Ia m enjoying not overthinking and just anticipating finding out!
A bit late in answering your Q from earlier in the topic fifi, but I didn't add the costume pic with Glenn Spears because I thought it was the same as blue suit + overcoat, like the above pic?
It is not the same outfit. The tie is a grey windowpane pattern rather than the brown one with squares (or dots or whatever those are), the waistcoat is brown rather than the blue tartan. The trousers are plain grey rather than the blue tartan. The shirt appears to be the same one, has the same smart upright collar.
How many layers is that man wearing?! (of course the correct answer to that is too many) I thought the inner grey we can see between the overcoat and waistcoat was the liner to the overcoat, but now I'm not sure if it's another layer?
Someone needs to stop me from looking at these photos! People are going to get the impression I'm obsessed or something. An intervention might be needed...
