I wonder whether Det Albert Flight is a trainee detective and H Division is his first secondment? He does look incredibly young in those pictures. And yes, waistcoat, suit, pocketwatch...can i also state just how good he looks in blue??? because wow!!
And can i also comment on the irony that the Hobbs Coffee people are now following me on Twitter and i don't drink or even like coffee? (and all because of a comment i made when i saw Damien's tweet and mentioned a S1 RS character went by the name of Hobbs) ;)
It's like falling in love with Hal all over again only it's not Hal , it's Albert Flight! (If that makes any sense) His clothing/accessories & hair style all work for me! & if he speaks with a cockney accent too, then that will be perfect!
The waistcoat + the pocket watch + the color = me *biting on my knuckle* There's something about that entire getup that does something to me. Well, to all of us. He reduces all of us to squees of delight and incoherent sentences.
I vote that particular shade of navy blue that seems to be Damien's favourite in and out of characters be renamed to DAMO BLUE. I'll be contacting crayola about it!

I thought it incredibly ironic that the coffee people are called Mr. Hobbs! And they favourited my whistful comment where I said something along the lines of I guess Damien still can't be captured on camera and followed me as well. (and squeee that they then posted pics with him!) I DO drink coffee, but I'm about 5000 miles away. LOL

OMIGOSH, I know! When all of these photos were popping up I was in work (on break). I had no one really to squee and fangirl with...except the pharmacist who just looked at me like I was just busting to come home and hop on here immediately.
*crosses fingers and toes* That would be great. I'm sure they'll be popping up soon. Waiting is the absolute worst, but at least we have each other to get through this!
I keep examining the collar of the shirt Damien's wearing.The tie is loosened & the design of the waistcoat on the shoulders looks like it has white dots over onto the back! i guess he just loosened the collar area upright to be more comfortable? (It wouldn't have been worn like that back then) ?!!! Oh it's a grandpop collar shirt!

Hopefully we will find out more about Detective Flight's costume in the not too distant future J-B, but you are right about the spots on the back of the waistcoat I think, and the pattern on the front and his trousers looks almost like tartan? I am very curious about the pocket watch chain, I have a couple of antique silver pocket watch chains that I had made into chokers, I don't know what appeals to me - the weight of the silver (not in a monetary way) and the history. I digress.
I am absolutely loving the pocket watch. I am very much into antiques (and I mean everything from furniture to jewelry) and that caught my eye immediately. That is a tie pin! How come I didn't notice that before? Too distracted by everything else, I guess.
He's just perfect. 
I just want to run up and give him a big squish.
